So in my opinion, summer is the best three months of the year because it's the only time where it's okay to be as lazy as possible and no one will say anything because "it's summer". One of my favorite things to do in the summer is go the beach and I wanted to write this blog post to talk about some of my favorite summer products that I think are essential to having an awesome beach day.
First, let's talk about what you're wearing on your eyes. SUNNIES GOTTA BE ON FLEEK. EyeBuyDirect is an eyewear company that I've recently partnered with and they have some adorable frames for every face shape (including my weird face shape: I have an extremely large face). These are some of my favorites from their newest collection:
They come in an adorable little case that's perfect to bring with you to the beach in your bags and both of the pairs I'm highlighting are extremely affordable and high quality which is sometimes hard to find with sunglasses that are stylish and aren't plastic and flimsy.
These are the Meraki sunglasses in blue floral accent. I think these are perfect for a beach day with friends and just relaxing in the sun. They're not too fancy and pretty much go with any outfit or swimsuit you may wear.
These are the Mojo sunglases from EyeBuyDirect and are my favorite pair of sunnies that I have right now. They fit my face shape perfectly and are also really on trend right now. I've worn them to festivals and to the beach and think they're a really good statement piece that goes with any outfit and makes you feel TRENDY AF.
One of the hardest parts about a beach day or a pool day in the summer is deciding what to eat and what to snack on. My friends at KIND have you covered when it comes to the decision making process. I've recently tried their newest product line (by no means am I a healthnut or anything - chips are gods greatest creation) but when it comes to being on the beach in a bathing suit I like to try and look my best and this snack helps me with that because it's not fatty. It also has two servings of fruit in these tiny little bars (CONFUSED HOW THAT'S POSSIBLE). PRESSED by KIND is one of my staple snacks for the summer and it comes in tons of yummy flavors.
There's Mango Apple, Cherry Apple, Strawberry Apple and Pineapple Banana Kale Spinach and they all taste great while being good for you! If you're looking for an alternative beach snack that's healthy and yummy - definitely check these new bars out.
LAST BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST on my summer essential list is sunscreen. Sunscreen is probably the most important out of all of these products and is something I will always wear and always recommend wearing when being in the sun (for obvious reasons that I'm not gonna get into because I'm no scientist). Bare Republic sent me some of their amazing products to share with you guys and I have to say that I'm a huge fan. Check them out below:
Bare Republic's Clearscreen sunscreen spray isn't a sticky or wet sunscreen which is what I like in a product like this. I can go in the water and actually feel protected still and don't have to worry about getting burnt. I'm the type who needs to build a tan over time so this definitely helps me get a good base going!
This face lotion is a great everyday applicant that I've started becoming better at working into my routine in the morning. You know they say sunscreen everyday can help reduce wrinkles?
The sport stick is by far my favorite product - perfect for when you're on the go but want that protection. I use it on my nose and ears (general areas that stick out a lot more and get a lot more sun) and it really packs a punch.
Summer is time for friends, fun, family and the beach so go out there and enjoy some sunshine with the people you love! I hope you guys like these products as much as I love them and if you have any questions about them please feel free to reach out to me!
LIFE IS A BEACH, BE A BIGGER ONE! ;)
*A HUGE thank you to EyeBuyDirect, KIND Snacks, and Bare Republic for sponsoring this post. As always - the opinions of this blog are my own and I will never work with brands that I do not truly believe in and support.*
