Lots of Life: My Hair Cuttery Experience

Hey guys, I KNOW it's been a while! I've been super busy with work and travels and creating content but I haven't forgotten about the blog, I promise!

I thought I'd share my recent experience at Hair Cuttery with you all. There's a bunch located throughout New England and I had an amazing experience with my stylist, Kim, at the Weymouth, MA location.

As we all know, I'm all for looking and feeling your best. While it starts on the inside, I like to take care of the way I look on the outside, too! With Coachella and other events on the horizon, I needed a quick trim and some maintenance. PLUS who doesn't love getting a shampoo and a scalp massage?

The most important part about a haircut for me is the conversational component you have with your stylist. I think that having a good and open dialogue with someone, as well as being sociable, is pretty much a necessity for every hairstylist. Luckily, I've been to Kim a few times and she knows that I'm very upfront as well as how I like my hair. She is a lifetime stylist who grew up in her father's salon and ended up become a leader at her Hair Cuttery. It's no shock to me because she has a great personality, perfect for a stylist and she definitely knew how to take care of me.

Hair Cuttery was super clean and simple, which I love. I hate the boujie-ness of some salons and think that more places need to just get back to the basics of great customer service with a simpler design aesthetic in mind. My shampoo and cut was quick and easy, I think I was in and out in a total of 30 minutes, which makes it the perfect spot to get a cut before you head out and run your errands on a weekend or if you need to get in during a busy week!

Here's a before and after of my hair cut at Hair Cuttery, it wasn't a huge difference length wise, my hair just gets really really annoyingly thick and hard to manage if I don't get my haircut ever 3ish weeks. Plus we don't want me looking like a member of the 90's band Hanson right?

If you're in the south shore area of Boston, I definitely recommend giving them a visit. Kim and Sandra were two of the nicest women I've met in a really long time and they definitely made my experience here at Hair Cuttery a great one! Can't wait to go back in a few weeks to get my pre-Coachella clipping.

I obviously made Sandra and Kim pose for a photo opp! How cute are they?

Make sure you guys let them know I sent you if you head in!

*A HUGE thank you to Hair Cuttery for sponsoring this post. As always - the opinions of this blog are my own and I will never work with brands that I do not truly believe in and support.*
